Subaru, Autochek sign a partnership to offer loans on new and locally used showroom cars

Autochek Africa, Kenya’s premier digital car financing platform and Subaru Kenya have today forged a partnership that offers digital loans for Subaru customers.

The deal will see the car financing platform provide auto loans to Subaru customers who wish to purchase showroom and locally used showroom cars through loans in a quick and digital application from either of the parties.

Speaking during the signing of the pact, Autochek Kenya’s country Manager, Bilhah Muriithi said “this move will give our customers a wider variety of cars as we will onboard brand new cars on the platform as well as showroom cars that have been used locally”.

Autochek, being the only car financing platform that also has car listings on its website is keen to open its platform to the entire automobile ecosystem by including insurance, tracking, and aftersales partners in a bid to offer a one-stop-shop solution on everything cars.

Also present at the signing of the Partnership, Subaru Kenya’s General Manager, Naftali Mwangi,  said “the collaboration will see an increase in their vehicle purchase since many Subaru lovers do not convert to customers due to stringent loan processes in the market from the existing lenders.”

The Partnership will also entail Subaru Kenya being a service partner for Autochek to provide repairs, sell spare parts and offer inspection for the new cars. It will also include in-depth training on Subaru vehicles from the Subaru training center for Autochek’s sales personnel.
