Infinix has released the NOTE Edge in Kenya. The device is the first commercial smartphone to use the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset and to run Android 16 with XOS 16.
The phone centers on sustained performance and battery longevity. Its 6,150mAh battery includes a self-healing function designed to repair micro-damage during charging.
The company states the battery should retain over 80% capacity after 2,000 full charge cycles.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G platform prioritizes consistent performance and energy efficiency for gaming, streaming, and multitasking. The device ships with a commitment to three major Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates.
Encased in a 7.2mm body, the NOTE Edge features up to 8GB of RAM, expandable via software. Infinix also highlighted that Kenyan Winter Olympian Sabrina Simader will use the device during the 2026 Milano Cortina Games.
Running Android 16 with XOS 16, the NOTE Edge integrates AI-powered smart functions designed to simplify daily tasks, enhance content creation and improve real-time performance.
