Optiven Secures Second Best Employer Award

It was yet another milestone at the Uongozi Career Awards by the Corporate Career Academy held on the 23rd November 2023 at the Catholic University of East Africa.

The event theme was dubbed “Closing the Gap; A decade of investing in Youth Employability Skills in East Africa,” and brought different stakeholders from the East African Community with the objective of achieving seamless transitions from learning to earning.

Optiven Limited came second in the “Best Employer of the Year” and is a testament to the company’s commitment to its staff.

Optiven values diversity and inclusion promoting a culture where the valued partners feel heard and valued. On top of that there have been various initiatives including Optiven Opal – which is a 14 week program to improve on individual soft skills, team buildings biannually and even rewarding staff based on the organisations key values: honesty, professionalism, customer focus and innovation.

The Optiven Foundation through the Education and Job Readiness pillar was able to scoop the second best “Education Foundation of the Year” and it was because of you, our partners and stakeholders that we were able to achieve this feat.

Vulnerable students have been identified and literacy levels have been improved by the Soaring Eagles Scholarship Program supporting students in both boarding and day schools in line with Sustainable Development Goal 4 – To ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

Optiven in 2023 have received several prestigious accolades highlighting its commitment to excellence in the industry.
