To ensure that every Kenyan has access to fast and reliable internet services, the government has expressed its willingness to collaborate with various stakeholders in the country’s digital sector.
This is according to Paul Kiage, an official from the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA), who stated that increased internet usage will not only strengthen the digital economy but also create new employment opportunities.
His remarks were echoed by Joseph Kibwett, the Managing Director of Paratus Kenya, who noted that faster internet speeds will enhance service delivery in key sectors such as education—where students will be better equipped to pursue digital learning—and healthcare, where medical professionals will be able to conduct research and improve patient care.
The two officials made these comments during the launch event of Paratus Kenya, the latest company to enter the Kenyan market offering internet services.
