Agilitee diversifies into Solar Energy Systems

Electric mobility company Agilitee is diversifying its operations into solar in a bid to cut Africas reliance on expensive electricity.

The new arm marks the company’s fourth division and the firm has already began installing solar energy systems meant to offer complete off-grid solutions for both residential and business clients.

Satisfied with the initial results, the company says it is now poised to expand its operations across Africa, starting with South Africa and Nigeria. Installations in Nigeria are set to commence in October.

To make solar energy accessible, Agilitee offers financing packages that allow families and businesses to receive immediate installations, with payments starting as low as $70 per month for residential customers and $150 for businesses.

“This is the beginning of a new and exciting chapter for Agilitee and its shareholders. We are going to create a lot of jobs from this division, and a lot of business opportunities will also derive from it,” said Mandla Lamba, Founder and CEO of Agilitee.

Dr. Lamba also called for partners across Africa to join Agilitee as distributors and resellers, as the company prepares to expand its market presence.

Agilitee, which will celebrate its sixth anniversary in October, has steadily grown under the leadership of Dr. Lamba, who is renowned for his visionary approach and business acumen. The company’s energy storage solutions for commercial clients are expected to outshine competitors, with a strong focus on complete off-grid systems rather than just backup hybrid solutions.
