In a move set to redefine Nigeria’s automotive landscape, Agilitee, Africa’s leading electric vehicle manufacturer, has announced an exclusive partnership with We Sync Autos Limited, a prominent automotive company based in Lagos.

This collaboration marks a milestone in the continent’s automotive industry and is aimed at driving innovation, sustainability, and economic growth in the region.

The partnership, finalized on the last day of January, culminated to the unveiling of  Agilitee Nigeria, a venture that will spearhead the rollout of electric vehicles, infrastructure, and solar systems across Nigeria.

This development follows Agilitee’s recent transaction with Innobuild in Malawi, showcasing the company’s commitment to expanding its footprint across Africa.

Dr. Mandla Lamba, Founder and CEO of Agilitee, expressed excitement about entering the Nigerian market after three years of preparation.

“Our offering will make the lives of many Nigerians easy, bringing affordable means of mobility and sustainable, affordable electricity,” Lamba stated, emphasizing Agilitee’s dedication to contributing to a carbon-free and prosperous society.

Agilitee’s entry into Nigeria aligns with the government’s goal of having 30 percent of all vehicles on Nigerian roads electric by 2025.

The company, in collaboration with its Nigerian partners, aims to roll out at least 20,000 electric two and three-wheelers and 1,000 four-wheelers this year, thereby significantly advancing the adoption of electric vehicles in the country.

“The entry of Agilitee into Nigeria signifies a significant step towards promoting environmental sustainability and reducing carbon emissions in the region,” said  Fredrick Muteti, Agilitee’s Executive Director.

The partnership between Agilitee and We Sync Autos Limited is expected to bring forth a range of cutting-edge electric vehicles tailored for the Nigerian market.
