Nairobi County government has now increased ward development fund from 17 million to 23 million per ward a move taken to ensure maximum development in each and every sub-county.
Addressing the media after tabling the County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP) and Annual Development Plan (ADP) in the assembly budget committee chairman Wilfred Oluoch defended this year’s budget terming it the best developed of all time.
“In our committee we don’t have Azimio And UDA we work for Nairobians the budget is strictly aligned with governor Johnson Sakajas’ manifesto we have done a thorough public participation to ensure its wananchis’ budget.” Odalo said.
Meanwhile Nairobi Festival event has been allocated 80 million shillings.
“The event was noble and we needed some budget to support this program I must confirm that it is super important and that money is appropriate ,”Odalo said.
