Azimio Coalition has affirmed Peter Imwatok of Makongeni ward and Moses Ogeto of Kilimani Ward as the Majorty Leader and Majority Chief Whip repectively.
In a letter to the Assembly Speaker Ken Ngondi, Upper Savannah MCA Stanzo Omungala will deputize Ogeto while John Musili will be the deputy majority leader.
“Is not our own making I want to thank God and my party for believing in my leadership and strength….I will be fair and articulate firmly party directives. To our brothers who were also in this race I want to tell you that all is not lost we will work together to ensure that Azimio remain strong and government is put on check,” Imwatok said.
Main in his agenda includes proper service delivery by Nairobi City County and also stability of Azimio Coalition in the assembly of Nairobi.
“For us it is to ensure Nairobians get good services we shall not sit down and watch our people suffer due to poor governance.” Imwatok added.
