Samsung is betting on the latest audio visual technology to drive uptake of its premium product range.
This was revealed during the unveiling of the latest line-up of consumer electronics in the Kenyan Market.
Among the electronics unveiled was the 2022 NEO QLED TV which now comes with an Eco-friendly Solar Cell Remote that is equipped with a solar panel at the back completely moving away from traditional disposable batteries.
“With this new lineup, Samsung aims to redefine the role of consumer electronics by creating beautifully designed, cutting-edge technology that offers not only functionality but aesthetics as well,” said Samsung Managing Director Mr. TS Lee.
The 2022 Line up of TVs come with a SolarCell remote that has received an upgrade for 2022.
It is 88 percent more efficient than the previous 2020 models and is now completely battery-free. It can also be charged through 2.4GHz radio frequency harvesting.
The Neural Quantum Processor 8K also scans the screen and maximizes contrast with the background by enhancing the object while keeping the background unprocessed.
It works similarly to the way human eyes perceive images in real life so the object on screen stands out against the background.
With this new lineup, Samsung aims to redefine the role of television by creating beautifully designed, cutting-edge screens that offer more than just entertainment. This year’s products and features take the screen to new heights by providing one central hub to play, connect, work and more.
The event was attended by Samsung Managing Director Mr. TS Lee, Samsung’s Consumer Electronics department heads Mr. Elikem Goh and Mr. Samuel Odhiambo, Samsung distributors as well as other stakeholders.
