Kenya Breweries Limited has awarded an amount of Ksh. 2.9 million to 29 lucky consumers in the ongoing Consumer promotion campaign dubbed Tekeleza Teke Teke.
The amount is part of the brewery’s consumer initiative support bottled beer consumers across the country.
An additional Ksh 12.48 million worth of airtime has also been paid out to winning customers weekly.
Some of the lucky winners in the Ksh. 100,000 award categories include Judy Wangari, a beauty therapist in Kamulu, Annette Ndinda in Machakos, and Kennedy Mathenge.
For Kennedy, a water vendor based in Kahawa West, the money won will be additional capital to expand his water business. Patricia Mwende, a winner and a beadwork artisan based in Dandora, says she will inject the cash into her small beading enterprise.
The campaign will continue to run for the next 2 months with a Ksh. 100 million is up for grabs, as KBL looks to position its beer portfolio to the next generation and millennial beer consumers.
Tusker Lager, Tusker Cider, Tusker Malt, Tusker Light, Guinness FES, Guinness Smooth, Balozi, White Cap, and Pilsner are some of the brands lined up in the portfolio.
